Finalist Event

The Finalist Event is a digital event honoring CIO finalists in categories such as Nonprofit/Public Sector, Corporate, Enterprise and Global. Gold sponsors introduce the incoming CIO of the Year finalists. Attendance is limited to CIO finalists, CIO members, CIO guests and select sponsor executives.

Finalist Dinner

Taking place at Converge, the most exclusive event in the CIO of the Year program is the Finalist Dinner. This themed event, “The Most Interesting CIOs in the World”, is a multi-course experience, with a chef-introduced menu and sommelier-selected wine pairings, led by CIO finalists and attended by CIO members and select sponsor executives. All Gold and Silver level sponsor executives are introduced by a CIO, who has the opportunity to share personal anecdotes and serve as an advocate for their most trusted business partners. The collegial format of this dinner is often the most highly-rated event of the year, creating a unique opportunity for strengthening existing relationships and establishing new connections.

ORBIE Awards

For the first time in-person, ORBIE winners from chapters across the US will participate in the National CIO of the Year ORBIE Awards. The National Awards is a broadcast-quality, professionally produced awards ceremony honoring the CIO finalists and revealing the 2022 National ORBIE winners. The National ORBIE Awards will culminate Converge22.
